What We Do
The founders of HDiA are Hungarian citizens who left the country many years ago for different reasons. The team members and partner organisations are from all over Europe and Africa. We have an extensive network of likeminded NGOs and individuals. Our work covers a wide range of interrelated activities designed to strengthen the rights and voices of those at risk of exclusion. These include:
- Conducting research, advocacy, and legal activism to uphold fundamental rights
- Developing and delivering training programs, curricula, and digital learning tools
- Supporting civil society organisations with technical expertise and strategic guidance
- Facilitating partnerships between public institutions and grassroots actors
- Providing mentoring and counselling services
- Promoting inclusive policy solutions at local, national, and European levels
- Organising study visits, international exchanges, conferences, and workshops
- Building and participating in transnational networks for knowledge exchange and solidarity

Who we are working with and for
Our efforts are focused on people and communities who face systemic discrimination or are at risk of exclusion, including:
- Roma and other marginalised communities in Europe and beyond
- Ethnic and linguistic minorities
- Women and gender minorities
- People with disabilities
- Migrants and displaced persons
- Civil society actors working under pressure or in restricted environments
- Public authorities and institutions seeking to improve rights-based inclusion
- We work in underdeveloped and transitioning regions -especially in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East—- supporting both individuals and organisations striving for a more just, participatory, and equal society.
Partner Organizations
We partner with like-minded organisations through formal Memoranda of Understanding to promote shared values and collaborate on projects that advance social justice, human rights, and dignity. These partnerships are built on mutual support, open exchange, and a shared commitment to empower marginalized communities.
